Here to offer space and time for you to press pause of life and take a breath. The remedy to modern life is the permission to take time out our usual responsibilities, to... slow... down..., to reconnect to YOUR self, calm your nerves, create healthy boundaries and have space to digest your experience of life unfolding right now. Giving yourselves space to relax. What we will offer you is not just Yoga. This course will guide you through the following practices and tools: - Breath practices to regulate the nervous system, increase lung capacity and calm your mind - Poetry, affirmations and words of wisdom to inspire hope, love and positivity - Meditation to ground down, slow down thoughts, become observers of our own mind. - Vagal toning practices to help build a resilient nervous system - Relaxation ( Savasana and Yoga Nidra) - Gentle and simple self massage for different acupressure points - Embodied cognition (inviting in qualities and feelings we want more of) -Yoga Philosophy to support our mindset, believes and thinking. The Yoga postures (asana) will be gentle, slow, fluid and restorative in nature. Helping you to move your body in a way that feels good for you free from competition or expectations. A blend of gentle Hatha Yoga Asana (postures) that flow into a Restorative Yoga sequence for the second half. Every session opens with a meditation to help you arrive and settle into the space. You will be guided to focus on your breath and move with mindful awareness. Weaving in life affirming and supportive philosophy from Ancient India. Finishing with a guided relaxation. Restorative Yoga is a practice of floor based postures supported with as many props as possible: cushions, bricks, blocks, bolsters. We hold these postures for 2-5 minutes giving our body the chance to unravel layers of tension than need that extra time. Feeling fully support and held, supports the nervous system and again aids in release of muscle aches and tension. Please bring blankets, as many cushions as you can carry, cosy socks and a yoga mat. No previous experience of Yoga is needed. This class is really aimed to be as inclusive as possible.

Classes: Due to high numbers of last minute cancellations, we can not offer a more flexible cancellation policy at this time. You can use your cancelled credit on any class within that week. Retreat: 50% refund 1 week before. Get in touch if you need to discuss a refund/ cancellation.
